Dr. Bhandari completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Michigan with a degree in Biology. She also attended medical school at the University of Michigan Medical School where she was recognized for her outstanding clinical skills in medicine.
Upon graduation from medical school, Dr. Bhandari completed a residency in adult psychiatry at Emory University. She then completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Emory University. Recognized for her excellent clinical skills and leadership qualities, she was selected as the Chief Fellow during her final year of fellowship. Dr. Bhandari also completed a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at Emory University and has worked in both the juvenile and adult justice systems.
Dr. Bhandari is board certified in Adult Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Forensic Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She has a broad range of experience and has worked in many different practice settings in the Atlanta area. She has been featured as the guest speaker at a variety of hospitals and organizations within the community.

Tyler Finklea, Ph.D. received her doctorate in Combined Counseling and School Psychology from Florida State University. While there she conducted research on the intersection of mental health and career difficulties. She completed an APA Accredited internship at American University in Washington, D.C., followed by an APA Accredited postdoctoral fellowship with Emory University’s Counseling and Psychological Services. She has worked at four university counseling centers, including as a staff psychologist at Georgia Institute of Technology.
She believes in the potential for growth and strives to walk alongside her clients to help them heal the past and live more fully in the present. Therapy may explore how one’s past is influencing the present, may focus on a concern in the present that needs immediate attention, or could be a combination of the two. She collaborates with her clients to identify these needs and goals throughout the process of therapy.
She approaches therapy through an integrative lens, including psychodynamic, relational, and mindfulness teachings and practices to work with clients to address a wide range of concerns. She especially finds working with adolescents and adults on identity development at all stages of life including LGBTQ+ identity development, anxiety, trauma, family of origin concerns, and life transitions to be fulfilling.
Dr Mehta is a board certified general psychiatrist. She was trained at University of Cincinnati and recognized for her excellence in psychiatry and became the chief resident of consult-liaison psychiatry.
Dr Mehta has worked in variety of settings in academic centers where they use the most uptodate research including psychotherapy modalities and psychopharmacology to treat psychiatric disorders. She hopes to bring this knowledge to her current practice. She has worked with various patient populations from adolescents to geriatrics treating all psychiatric disorders such as anxiety disorders like post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder; mood disorders such as bipolar disorder and major depressive disorders; and psychotic disorders. She has also worked with special populations with medical comorbidities and severe psychiatric pathology in the fields of psycho-oncology, transplant psychiatry, and HIV.
She hopes to bring her expertise to this practices. She takes a more holistic approach to treatment which includes behavioral modification, psychotherapeutic modalities, psychopharmacology and some mindfulness techniques. She is open for new patients and is enthusiastic to work with you.
Dr. Sheahan completed her undergraduate studies at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She also minored in Classical and Asian Studies, the latter of which was completed through studying abroad at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan. Dr. Sheahan stayed in Illinois and graduated from medical school at Midwestern University and completed her residency training in General Psychiatry through Baystate Medical Center: affiliated with the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School.
Due to her skill set and hard work, Dr. Sheahan graduated early from her residency program to start her Child and Adolescent Fellowship through Baystate Medical Center. Once she graduated, she moved to Atlanta to complete her Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship through Emory University School of Medicine. Throughout her career, Dr. Sheahan has been consistently recognized for her skills in patient care, leadership abilities, advocacy work, and education. She was both the resident and fellow representative in the Graduate Medical Education Committee at Baystate Medical Center, and she is a mentor for multiple residents. In her free time, she enjoys botany and pottery.
Dr. Sheahan is currently board certified in Adult Psychiatry and is board eligible for both Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In her clinical practice, she prioritizes patient rapport and collaborative decision-making in a judgment-free, inclusive environment. She has broad experience in psychiatric conditions and has additional experience in special populations including Autism, Transgender, LGBTQ, and victims of trafficking. Kaylee Simon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Before joining Path Group of Atlanta LLC, Kaylee provided therapy at a non-profit where she developed a well-rounded practice and a specialty in animal-assisted therapy. Kaylee enjoys working with a diversity of clients, including teens, adults, couples, and families.
In 2014, Kaylee met her furry, four-legged partner - Riley - and they have been working together ever since. Riley was born November 2014 and was made for this job. She is a small Maltipoo (poodle + maltese) and is hypoallergenic. Riley loves working with her clients giving emotional support with love and kisses.
Kaylee received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University. While there, she worked at a day program for adults with an array of mental health diagnoses. Kaylee received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia, graduating Magma Cum Laude. She was also a Presidential Scholar and on the Dean's List.
Kaylee believes in building strong emotional bonds with her clients. She draws on techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and solution focused therapy to work with her clients on reaching their goals.
Trevor Strickland, MS received his degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. He completed his practicum and internship at the Decatur High School Student Center, where he primarily worked with adolescents and their families in groups and individual sessions on a variety of issues, including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, adjustment disorders, developmental delays, mood and personality disorders, social isolation, addiction, crisis and suicide intervention, gender identity and sexuality, and other mental health diagnoses with varying severity. He is certified and recognized as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) by the National Board for Certified Counselors. As an Associate Professional Counselor (APC), he works under the supervision of Dr. Elana Zimand while working towards licensure as an LPC. He is trained and certified in ASSIST and Suicide-2-Hope (suicide interventions).
He believes that everyone suffers in some way or another, and our lives are in a constant state of flux. Everything changes on its own at some point, but we can learn to steer change in a way that benefits us and those around us by better understanding how we respond to suffering. He utilizes mindfulness practices, CBT skills, and a variety of other interventions to help clients see their problems clearly and create tangible plans for overcoming them. Children who are faced with adversity or struggle within their contexts (i.e. family relationships, peer relationships, academic struggles) benefit from exposure to fundamental life experiences that directly improve their developmental and emotional growth.
Therapy focuses on shifting our perception of problems so that the problem becomes an opportunity for growth and connection. For that shift to happen, we must develop non-judgemental awareness of our habitual reactions to suffering. We also learn to let go of preconceived notions about who we are and how we think life should be. Learning to let go allows us to gain clear insights into our struggles and failures, and improves our ability to accept and move through our problems. He believes there are three ways of learning - faith, intellectual investigation, and direct experience. Practice and exposure to the direct experience of skills and concepts are emphasized, especially when working with children. Once new skills are learned and practiced, we can begin to discover new ways of responding to old issues, moving into new possibilities that align with our deepest values.

Dr. Suryadevara completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Georgia with a degree in Psychology. She graduated from medical school at Xavier University with honors and was recognized for her remarkable clinical skills in medicine.
After graduating from medical school, Dr. Suryadevara completed a residency in general psychiatry at Jamaica Hospital in Queens, New York. She then completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Upstate University in Syracuse, New York. During her training she was recognized for her patient care and leadership abilities and selected as the Chief Fellow of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Additionally, Dr. Suryadevara also completed a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at Emory University and has worked in both the juvenile and adult justice systems.
Dr. Suryadevara is board eligible in Adult Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Forensic Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Her range of experience is broad and includes various practice settings utilizing the most up to date research comprising psychotherapy modalities and psychopharmacology to treat psychiatric disorders. She is skilled in treating a myriad of psychiatric disorders and has also worked with special populations in the fields of Autism Spectrum, Tourette’s, Transgender Mental Health, LGBTQ Mental Health, and is familiar with utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach to treat medical comorbidities.
Dr. Suryadevara takes an individualized approach to treatment that takes into consideration a person's cultural preferences, family dynamics, and personal identity. This allows for a holistic approach to treatment which includes behavioral modification, psychotherapeutic modalities, and psychopharmacology.

Elana Zimand, Ph.D. received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University at Albany, State University of New York. While there, she conducted research on childhood obesity and sleep disorders. Dr. Zimand was employed by the Albany County Community Mental Health Center to conduct custody and visitation evaluations for the Albany County Family Court System.
Upon moving to Atlanta, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Emory University, Child Study and Research Center evaluating children for social, emotional, behavioral and educational problems. From 1999, Dr. Zimand worked at Virtually Better, Inc. in Decatur, serving as Director of Clinical Services from 2002 - 2007. Dr. Zimand participated in numerous clinical research trials using cognitive-behavioral therapy and virtual reality technology.
Since 2007, she has been in full-time private practice in Buckhead. Currently, her primary focus is treatment of children, adolescents and adults using cognitive-behavioral techniques for a wide range of disorders. She specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders, particularly Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Separation Anxiety, and Panic Disorder, behavioral problems, including Trichotillomania, and mood disorders, including Bipolar Disorder and Depression.
